Development News... Okay, the next Mane-of-Night story, Ghosts Of Freeport, can now be officially counted as under way. I haven't added much to the rough first few paragraphs, but the foundations are there, and the framework is in place - at least in my head.

I think I'm shaking off the urge for excessive gaming right now, so perhaps the path is clear for something creative. I would say "fingers crossed", but those fingers really should be typing...

Meanwhile... Oooooh dear - it sounds like A Good Day To Die Hard isn't. Good, I mean. Pity. Guess Blockbuster Pre-Season won't be kicking off this weekend after all.

Development News... YES. PIRATES OF FREEPORT is making progress. Work Slot 2 is starting to pay off - now, can I make it to bed before "stupid o'clock"...?

Other incredible news... Yesterday, the TV remote slid into null-space. Today, it was found. It was almost literally right under my sodding nose.

Thrilling, is it? hardly - but it's this or... you know what.

THIS JUST IN... AVENGERS just clocked up ONE BILLION DOLLARS WORLDWIDE. Oh. My. Freaking. Whedon.

Bloody hell - does Star Trek Online NOT like being ignored... it just crashed Firefox, as I went to write this. If I ever see another Scoodian Science Vessel...

Other things NOT Star Trek Online... YES, such things DO exist. Such as Day One of Work Slot 2 - a "quiet" session, event-wise if not in volume. At least the afternoon was a "long one", and there's bonus pay for a Saturday, so that's probably a new ship paid for. (DAMN!)

Meanwhile, I have the conclusion of PIRATES OF FREEPORT sketched out, and it could make the next "episode" GHOSTS OF FREEPORT very interesting!

Here we go - not long before I can declare Mission 101 Task 98
98 - See each of the "Avengers" cycle of movies on opening day! (Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011), Captain America - The First Avenger (2011), Avengers (2012))
can be formally declared a *SCORE*. Let's face it - mere "rain" isn't going to be enough to stop me heading out the door in pretty much exactly twenty-four hours time - MARK. It'll have to be raining radioactive dinosaurs for me to miss this. Or worse.

Oh, and The NFL Draft is tomorrow, too. Pick Number 2 - Robert Griffin III to the Redskins - PLEASE!

And finally... Yes! Strong progress on PIRATES OF FREEPORT! I'm going to be busy these next couple of weeks...

I may be a little later in posting tomorrow. Surprise bleedin' surprise.

Well, that's the tough part of the office move done, and I suspect that things will be fairly "easy" for the rest of the week - hopefully. An easy time leading into Thursday night would suit me just fine.

Today was pretty much work-free, so I got to do a bit of type-up, and some more writing, so that Pirates Of Freeport is officially into Chapter 3 as of lunchtime. Nice...

Meanwhile...

But that's not all... The roof repairs are approaching commencement - I had no idea it was going to be quite that big a job, running into the summer!

Okay, so I missed the start of Homeland in the post-Ultima Online chaos - hooray for "+1" channels...and a repeat start in EIGHT minutes, so I better be quick!

Development News... That's more like it - sort of. Pirates Of Freeport is almost at the end of Chapter 2!

And finally... Congrats to Paul di Resta on grabbing a career-best equalling 6th place at Bahrain!
