Hmm. Bit of a gap, there. So, what's new...?

ITEM! I've been busy with (you've guessed already, I imagine) Minecraft, producing more material for Season IV...

ITEM! ...aaaand I have finally got my hands on Saints Row IV, after missing it in several Steam sales over Christmas.

ITEM! I just finished A Game Of Thrones, and my bookmark is now tucked inside the first few pages of A Clash Of Kings... guess I'll have to get the TV series boxed sets now.

ITEM! I did a bit of shopping the other day, and the first of several items arrived yesterday, just when it was needed (unexpectedly)! Not the potentially essential device to aid my video production, but handy for crafting in the near future.

ITEM! Crap. Writing has not fitted into my schedule so far, since that bit of type-up I did in the wake of the exams and Christmas. I still want to have something posted by month's end, but that's approaching pretty quickly - could be that I may yet change my publishing plans.

We shall see...

And finally... Coming soon: GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY LEGO. Niiice.

Reporting from the netbook, 'cause the laptop needed a reboot, and got stuck again. The latter probably realises that its position as current #1 hardware solution is about to be usurped, and is getting in one last "dig". Yep, the new laptop has been ordered!

Today, however, was not be the day of rest I'd anticipated. A brief shopping trip was expanded to include other necessities, and then stretched further to include a visit to the town's annual medieval fayre, which I have NEVER managed to attend before! I returned with some nice buckles, a VERY promising knotting tool and a chain/mail keyring - and some photos (in an attempt to pick up on another Mission 101 Task - 55 - Take more photographs. I'm not about to complain, but tomorrow is going to be seriously "anti-busy" to make up for it.

So, I guess I better start gathering the software I'll need to bring the new laptop up to speed - ooooh, look; Cloverfield on telly...!

Bang goes that plan. ;-)

The Learning Curve concludes, and Brighthawk heads into the fray as more and more questions are asked about the mystery of the dying stars, and there's a major surprise as help comes from an entirely unexpected source...

Release Notes... As Eric Bloom once sang: "But wait - there's mo'...!" This is the end of the first of THREE parts to this particular story. Instead of fifteen consecutive chapters, the release for this is being handled as three Episodes of five chapters each. The next part is due for November, and the whole story should be live by Christmas - just in time for the lead-in to WORLDS COLLIDE...

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a variety of craft ideas to investigate. Latest is an attempt to make use of a whole heap of Filofax refills that I'm not likely to use in their native product format again. I can't stand wire-bound notebooks, and just below that on my scale of irritation are binder rings, like the six you find in a Filofax. I envisage something in leather, with a loose-ish cord binding method...

The damn laptop is bitching me out again, so I'm posting via the netbook. A perfect way to end an otherwise quite agreeable day - I found a needed craft item at the last possible outlet in town, I have a draft version of a "depth chart" for the crews of various starships I've featured in my writing, so that I don't have to look through chapter after chapter online to compile a particular crew roster... but then there were updates for the lappy, and it started tripping over its restart procedure again. That means "back to business" tomorrow (hopefully), and to hell with any other plans for the evening...

Technology upgrades seem to be getting more and more essential. It may be time to take the plunge.

After The Fall continues, and the mysterious, sudden departure of Mane-of-Night is explained, as Mystalorn gathers, with friends and allies, to remember what they have lost. Meanwhile, Lord Fh'ane's kingdom begins its recovery...

Release Notes... A post a day, as promised. Enjoy!

Today's highlights... Yay - shiny new gadgets! Yay - the ability to actually use them! Can I use my brand spanking new TV as a monitor? Something else to explore - such as just how to hook my DVR up to this new beast...

At least I have a better net connection now, thanks to having my PC on my desk instead of beside it. As far as my boot storage facilities go, my adjustable hanging scheme - explored yesterday - rather tripped over the lack of suitable rail-chain interfaces (hooks or screw-shut shackles, basically). Time to break out the trusty paracord, I suspect...
