Short month, but that's no excuse...
...however, I have been making a bit more progress than last month - although to be honest, it'd be hard to do less! I think I can count Task 47 - Refresh my art skills as a *SCORE*, as I've been gathering materials these last few weeks, and at the weekend, I actually "broke ground" on my first semi-serious piece of art in YEARS. If I manage to finish this to my satisfaction, I will quite happily count it towards Task 50 - Create proper pieces of art, for hanging or gifts as well!
This sets the scene quite nicely for other creative Tasks on my List - I certainly feel a good deal more motivated, and I'll be looking at that Lists to see what other Tasks just need just a little push to set them rolling. Already, I have a short list, and I'll be guaranteeing some progress next month! There, I've said it...
As far as progress that doesn't complete tasks goes, I'm keeping up with cooking dinners(Task 9), buying books (Task 29), watching classic movies (Task 28), getting comics orders in in plenty of time (Task 42), and getting my regular dose of walks to and from work (Task 3). I'm also thinking about re-organising my current list into at-a-glance sections - Completed, In Progress, Needs Work, Not Started and so on.
Overall, I'm in a much better place than January - the better weather certainly helps - and whilst the road ahead is mostly uphill, I'm growing more and more ready to tackle it.
