Concerning Today...

THANK YOU, BRIAN BENDIS. Thank you for New Avengers #7. I so needed that.
Yup, it's Comics Day today - about six weeks since the last one - and this comic is the one that absolutely shines. It's all talking, as our heroes pick up the pieces (quite literally) from their last battle, and the dialogue is utterly priceless. Grin-inducing scene follows grin-inducing scene, and these people are some of Marvel's most prestigious characters! Brilliant.
Pity about Chaos War, though. A major "event" that just isn't working - you know everything is going to work out in the end, but the journey to that ending (next month) hasn't been particularly memorable. The conclusion better be spectacularly good.
However my boss forgot to tell me they need a timesheet THIS WEEK. And I just found out ten minutes ago.
Oh. Good.
I'm not all that pissed off about it - it's inconvenient, and it could've been dealt with on Monday, but it's fixable. Change. Growth. Power... Change. Growth. Power... Change. Growth. Power...
