Development News... Now that is what I call productive - right now, Chapter 5 of Tales of Shadow City: Seeing Nowhere Through The Eyes Of A Lie is pretty close to completion, after some SERIOUS writing last night, and today. I'm not quite "there" yet, but close.

I'll have a more confident position to report this time tomorrow. May even have something to post.

Meanwhile... Ye gods - Redskins win! Holy crap, we are TIED for the division lead!

Okay, there's not going to be a story post tonight, and I don't think I'll be able to fit it in before I set off for the hotel. Today has been... problematic, with any prior plans going out the window due to family issues. Said issues shouldn't impact on the imminent outing - hopefully.

I'll do my very best to at least have a paper version of the final section of Seeing Nowhere Through The Eyes Of A Lie by the time I get back (Sunday). I don't want to take hefty technology with me - not after the techno-farce of the London trip...

In Today's Episode: Tales of Shadow City: Seeing Nowhere Through The Eyes Of A Lie continues with Talona venturing into space to investigate the mysterious "Spire" at the mouth of the dimensional rift that casts an unseen shadow over her city, and all she holds dear. Meanwhile, Yafornis and Shadow City continue to turn without their "Mistress" being present - and there are surprises just around the corner...

Release Notes... And we're back on track - and that is never going to happen again. I think I have it arranged that renewal notices will get distributed to an e-mail address I actually use from now on.

Posting again tomorrow and Thursday, to bring everything into line. Better get some more writing done in the meantime...

A lunchtime appointment changed my usual routine, and it looked as though I'd be getting a mid-week lie-in, but there was some netbook maintenance to attend to, and I took the opportunity to get some type-up done. The rest of the day went pretty well - right up until home-time, and the discovery of the arrival of a parcel that wasn't all I'd thought it would be. The box was big enough to contain my entire LEGO order, but instead of one small set and a bunch of custom-picked pieces... just the small boxed product. DISAPPOINTED.

Looking again, the confirmation of shipping email DOES only say the one item, but dammit.

TV News... Ooooh, look, "new" South Park next week. BUT will I remember it?

Also... US wrestling (from TNA) now seems to be a regular fixture of Freeview. I could get back into that again, if only as research for the upcoming Shadow City stories, featuring the "new order" for the CUWA...
