Saturday Overflow...
23 May 2010 13:55Fancy a bit of a laugh? Apparently, my regular exam venue was ONE PERSON SHORT ON FRIDAY -the day I was filling in my time at New Work. The Invigilation system is in need of some considerable reworking - they really need to keep teams together, and make the most of the more experienced Invigilators...
I mean, just how many times do I have to say "I can work any day, any slot, any venue"...? That's two sessions in a row that I have had empty days, and it just doesn't make a scrap of sense!

...thank you. That means the main image directory for the new site is working. Next, the installation of Wordpress for... errr, something. Once I have MoN-204 "Mane-of-Night And The Hunter's Game" completed and in posting mode, I'll have to do some serious site-planning, and work out whether it's worth stepping up a level on the hosting package. The whole "blog" set-up is just SO useful...!
Talking of story posting... I should have posted Chapter 1 of MoN-204 last night, but, well, you know how that went. I would be writing right now, filling out the last gaps in the Epilogue, BUT the lack of writing time at lunch yesterday meant I didn't notice that I didn't have an up-to-date version of the story on the netbook or flash-drive. D'oh!
I'll rectify that later, and get Chapter 1 posted tonight. May even have the whole thing sorted by the end of the night - if I don't melt.
(Which I somehow doubt is likely, 'cause the weather is "on the turn" up here. Guess that's summer over for another year...)
