Behind The Scenes... Things start to get a little complicated starting this week coming, as the next bit of Uni work comes my way, just the day after I get to tell The Fucking System that no, they can't screw around with me this early in the year after all.
Anyway, back to business: Production will still proceed, no matter what - currently, I'm moving into the latter stages of the story, and a "new" character is due to be formally named very soon, as he immerses himself in the ongoing conflict. And thus, a hero is born.
"F Vs D" won't be finished in time to use my work stint solely for Season Five development. I also have Season One of The Secret Adventures of Mane-of-Night to consider, with several concepts "pencilled in", a major story concept currently in "gentle simmer" mode and a story already started some months ago needing completion. I may risk overstretching myself, but I'm not planning to go too deep - if The Darkhawk Diaries ran, as a TV show, to a 24-episode season, Season One of TSAoMoN would probably be 13 episodes, like a season of Doctor Who, or Torchwood.
Will TSAoMoN cross over into TDD? Certainly... and oddly enough, there's something of the "Torchwoods" about this "spin-off", albeit unintentionally. I'll explore that, and the phenomenon of "feel-alike" concepts that have recently emerged in these projects, in later posts. Gives me something to write about on quiet days, so not all bad...
And finally... Wheeee! Finally got a decent mouse to use with the laptop - I can actually play UO with this one and not be in agony within half an hour.
