Continuity Chaos...
17 Nov 2006 19:54In Today's Episode... Mane-of-Night receives some much-needed help, and more is about to arrive - all in the latest chapter of The Darkhawk Diaries.
In Today's Headline News... I've been going through all the existing chapters of TDD, looking primarily for the name of a character due to feature in the next story - something that's holding up writing at the moment...
...and I managed to come across a previous appearance of Medyra Darkstrider, in the second season story "The Battle Of Thrakmor", which conflicts to some degree with her more recent appearance - quite literally. A rewrite of the newer segment will be carried out later tonight, to bring everything back into line.
I'm also taking the opportunity to pull together a "rough guide" to the whole story so far (yeah, all four seasons), with all the named characters, ships and locations referred to by when they first appeared. I was going to to a "Who's Who" anyway, and this is the start of that project - first I do appearances in story order, then detail them and their activities in alphabetic order, just like the Marvel and DC publications serving a similar purpose. The finalised guide will be converted to an online format, and incorporated in the DominiCore web-site - hopefully.
*sighs* Such are the prices of running your own "universe"...
*Update* Whoa, just got a hit of deja vu, writing the "continuity" news item. Weird.
