So that was a day that singularly failed to get into any creative gear, and seemed to be generally without goal. Equally pointless was the Pope "apologising" - apologising for what, exactly? The media taking a single paragraph out of seven pages out of context - the one time he mentioned Islam - and the Knee-Jerk Jihad swing into action with well-oiled perfection.

Islam has got to learn to take its lumps like everyone else. Either everyone gets special treatment, or no-one does.

This is far from over, more's the frigging pity, and "apologising" doesn't help one bit. Just watch the next few days, and see if I'm wrong...
