So, it's raining again. Joy un-freaking-bounded. I guess we can declare Summer over - not that we really had anything approaching a summer. Now, what else is on the news...?
How about this...? The International Space Station is now ENTIRELY dependant on Russian cargo capsules to keep it going - and the most recent one never made it, crashing back into the atmosphere. Hilarious - or it would be if the ISS wasn't man's only foothold in space these days.
Anything else? Still suffering from the "Six AM Blues", but making some worthwhile use of "the grey slot". I'm working through Chapter 5 of TDD-702 The Learning Curve, and the story is simmering away to a satisfying degree- but what comes next... well, that's still something needing some attention.
However, I am now in "Grey Slot II" - that infuriating period where I'm starting to fall alseep, but it's too early to go to bed. If I crack open the netbook in bed, I'll fall asleep, and the precious device will end up on the floor. In bits...
I'm going to try something new: relocate to the bedroom to write, old-fashioned style, and maybe do some type-up or net-stuff if the urge takes hold. TV has nothing I want to see right now, and this seems like an option to explore.
