I currently have two deliveries en route to me, in the form of Patent Saturday presents. Both are, according to the websites of the respective delivery companies, at their local depots, awaiting final delivery - one at Glenrothes (21.4 miles, projected journey time 0:44), one at Perth (38.1 miles, journey time 1:09).
The question is this: which gets to me first...? The first has been at its delivery depot since the 2nd, the other got to its penultimate destination earlier today - but both effectively get to start from equal footings on Monday. Unless they do Sunday deliveries...
Yes, I know the snow and ice has messed up a lot of deliveries, and there are disclaimers on several sites - City-Link, and Amazon for a start - but I'm not pointing fingers, or getting pissed off about it all. I'm just having some fun, nothing more. I mean, come on - I did like three and a half hours of training Imbuing in Ultima Online yesterday, and a bunch of Fletching this evening! I gotta wind down somehow.
