Okay - Ya Caught Me.
19 May 2010 22:01I have next to nothing to post about today. Writing is going VERY well - "Hot-Notes" courtesy of PocketMod.com - and MoN-204 "Mane-of-Night And The Hunter's Game" Chapter 7 is moving along nicely. The gap is closing, a first posting is imminent. It would be today, but I have some other, CLAN-related business to deal with tonight (or I just will NOT get any peace)...
...ah, and there it is - something to post about...
Tomorrow is the latest Community Engagement meeting, and the last at its regular venue before The Holy Rollers heave into town. I wonder how many people will turn up this time (about half a dozen, perhaps, I'm guessing) and how many of them will be local councillors (prediction: zero). If there are going to be more people there than usual, I may just try to rally more CLAN resistance by letting those present know how our postal campaign has gone. So far, the response has been encouraging, for our members of the British and Scottish Parliaments have been quite supportive, and have gotten our concerns to the person who seems to have the most to say - and the least reassurance to give us. The general feeling we get in her response is "the deal is done, they've told us they'll keep it down, and that's good enough for the Council". Well, it's not good enough for those within, say, half a mile of the thing, and very soon, wheels will start a-turning...
You guys had your chance. You just don't seem to be listening.
i-Resist signing off. For now.
