Now that is more like it.
No interruptions, a fairly early start compared to some days - and wow, what a difference. MoN-203 Mane-of-Night And The Wayward Child Chapter 15 is done, and all that remains is the revised Chapter 16, which will combine the planned epilogue with the extended finale - there's something left to be done that just can't be crammed in at the end of a chapter, like some kind of after-thought. I am really pleased with how things have gone today, and the story is now 98% certain to get posted to conclusion on time - Chapter 15 tomorrow, Chapter 16 on Saturday. Hooray!
Thanks must surely go to turning the central heating down a degree, 'cause before that, it was getting too hot to concentrate...
Meanwhile... I'm hoping my great-aunt is now settling down, after what has been her own personal "Year Of Hell". The signs are better with each passing week, more or less.
A Final Thought... about Doctor Who: could it be that when The Doctor aborted that regeneration in "Journey's End" (Season 4, Episode 13), he not only shed the spare regeneration energy, but his own conscience, at least as far as handling time is concerned? Whatever the truth, I'm pretty sure we will be 1) hearing the name "The Valeyard", and 2) seeing Rose's "Doctor" come Christmas!
