patentdragonAgh! Yup, there goes my hearing again. That respite on Friday came to an abrupt end when I woke up...
Also "Agh!" My 'net connection STILL hasn't gone down - a funny thing to wish for, I know, but that's the only way to be sure that "The Chaos That I Accept NO Blame For" is finally coming to an end. I've been so "at ease" today that I've managed to forget about it all completely, and went and bid on two auctions on eBay that close in about 24 hours - when I may not have a 'net connection. I should be able to go online on Monday, and hopefully arrange for The Right Broadband Package. *crosses fingers*
Not An "Agh!", But A *sigh*... Yes, I've let myself down on the writing front. I know how things are supposed to progress, but just one sentence is the biggest "road-block" I've had in ages. I think I'm going to completely rewrite the offending section in an attempt to purge the problem - MoN-202 "Mane-of-Night And The Watcher From Beyond" cannot grind to a halt now.
I'll be logging off for CSI New York soon - maybe I can do that a little earlier than planned, and try and push ahead...
And Then There Are Good Things, Too... I've been meaning to give a more adventurous project a dry run for some time, and I finally managed to do just that. The result isn't perfect, but the pattern I've devised does work - with the right materials, a full-size version is quite achievable.
And finally... Ah bugger, just spent more money. Not a lot, but still...
