(Another) End Of An Era

patentdragonWell, that's it. Woolworths is history. It was rather depressing to go in today, and see almost no stock - I had to walk round three times to find something to buy, namely two flexible rulers, which I probably bought for the total price I could have bought rulers for back when I was little. This town now, sadly, has a big gaping hole at the heart of it, and I couldn't bring myself to take a photo today...
There you have it, people - undeniable proof that Gordistair have completely screwed this country up...
Meanwhile... Throughout "The Year Of Pain", I would, without fail, wake up at half past six, and go back to sleep then wake up at half past seven, or find I couldn't get back to sleep at all. I managed to shed that tendancy midway through 2008, and now I'm waking up at a more sensible time, only to fall asleep again, and not get fully up to speed until midday - if I'm lucky. I'm blaming the cold - it honestly hasn't been as cold as this for four, five years - but I braved it today, and feel better for it. Thought: perhaps it might be an idea to try something completely new, particularly something active.
And Funnily Enough... About those two rulers: they're packaged as 6" and 12" rulers respectively, but both are entirely metric. Crazy...
And finally... Should be a comic order, with added extravagant goodies, some time between tomorrow and the weekend. Final issue of Secret Invasion please? The 'Net is starting to buzz about what comes next already...
