patentdragonDevelopment news... Writing these last few days has been like trying to crap a cheese grater... but I have managed to get a couple of paragraphs done, and the log-jam may be loosening.
Loot! One BIG highlight in this year's pressy haul. The Russell T Davies "year in the life of Doctor Who" book "The Writer's Tale" has been spoken of as the best book for aspiring writers in years. I've been meaning to get it, and a suitably-timed hint netted me a copy yesterday. It seems to have it all - first version scripts, plus revisions with explanations, the whole book based around e-mail exchanges between Russell and his co-author, plus unseen sketches, concept art and looks at stuff that never aired, such as the original "The Next Doctor" tie-in finish for this season's "Journey's End". No lightweight tome this - hardback, over 500 pages... dammit, I feel inspired. In response, I may just put together a "shooting script" for TDD-512 "...To The End Of The Road"...
Note To Self... Set up new archive page for Darkhawk Season 6 to accommodate "No-one Gets To Their Heaven Without A Fight"!
Tomorrow... A brief shopping excursion is on the cards for tomorrow - maybe I can snap up a £10 copy of "The Dark Knight"...
