A notebook page of progress may not seem like much, but it bridges an important gap, and leaves the way clear to the end of the current chapter, and the two subsequent chapters that'll bring TDD-511 "The Endless Dance... III" to its conclusion. It is all coming together, but you gotta walk before you can march...!
Elsewhat... Hostel is on right now, and... well, sorry, but it's not working for me. For a movie like this to work, you have to care about the characters, and I didn't - stoner Americans out for Euro-pussy do not sympathetic characters make...
Meanwhile... there was an advert for the straight-to-DVD second Starship Troopers sequel, and that rather underwhelmed. Sorry, people, but that's the kind of movie that absolutely requires a major budget. *sighs*
***Update*** I did actually stick with Hostel to the end, and it did improve, a bit. I still think it spent too much time on the "heroes" having "a good time", when the escape needed a little more time and effort to develop any real tension.
