In Today's Episode... Darkhawk makes good on a promise, and battle is joined - just what will Over/Strike do to defend themselves? Tune in to the latest chapter of "Knight To King - Checkmate" to find out!Release Notes... Green... amber... red?
Development News... There's just one chapter left to do for MoN-108 "...Jacks And Queens", and about 25 hours of the weekend left to do it in, to keep my promise. I'm having the closest thing to a holiday that I've had in quite a while right now (since Thursday, actually), and that, plus the Olympics, seems to be doing the trick. Expect a good few long chapters!
Elsewhat... Talking of the Olympics, that's some day we just had. Big successes in the rowing, bigger successes in the track cycling - thanks in no small part to Scottish riders - and even more to come tomorrow, guaranteed. I've really been enjoying these games - apart from when people start bitching about how our Olympians shouldn't be thought of as heroes, because they'd didn't risk life and limb for their country. Let's see, just what is the definition of "hero"...?
"...one greatly regarded for achievements or qualities..."
Hmmm. certainly sounds like Chris Hoy or the coxless fours squad to me. I'd much rather have people look at them and think "I really want to be like them" instead of Amy Boozehound, Pete Dopehead (dammit, they're like "Carry On" characters, aren't they?) or whatever soulless media zombie wins the latest mass-market brain-death popularity contest.
And finally... No Potter 6 'til July 2009, eh? Guess that's Warner Brothers going for profits ahead of popularity...
