Max-imum Carnage...
25 Jul 2008 00:13Oh dear... so Max Mosely's won £60,000 in damages because of the so-called "Nazi orgy", and the papers are sobbing about how "the press is now less free" as a result - their freedom to report a whole bunch of sleaze and call it "news". Could this mean that newspaper reporters will not have to actually do their job, and actually find real stories? And I had no idea that lying about people was counts as "freedom of expression" - or so the newspapers would have you believe.
I look forward to hearing about the sex life of the editor of the newspaper in question - I believe it is very much "in the public interest" to know the sexual background of someone who feels he is able to pass judgement, on our behalf, on the activities of others...
Meanwhile... Could be some interesting news soon...
May have to book The Dark Knight for Saturday.
