Wireless Web War II; Day 2...

Things continue to go fine with Broadband V2.0, except when Gaia's Flash games push Firefox to its limit. Getting late, so I'll follow this up / make more of an effort tomorrow.

Wireless Web War II; Day 3

Beginning Today... "Mane-of-Night And The Darkening Storm". Mane-of-Night returns to Wyridaen for some much-deserved rest and relaxation - but how long will it last?

Release notes... This story has been LONG in the coming, but now it begins. I don't see any reason why the story shouldn't continue on a regular release schedule, but external events can put a dent in the best-laid plans.

Development News... MoN-202 "Mane-of-Night And The Watcher From Beyond" edges forward gradually, shaking off its "creative lag" like a bear emerging from its lair in the spring. A semi-problematic sequence has been "repaired", and things should pick up speed from now on. Hooray!

Meanwhile... The new broadband continues to operate satisfactorally, when Gaia doesn't lag Firefox into a stupor, that is. I have a new computer chair, to replace the nightmarish piece of shit that repeatedly tried to kill me - and paid the price - and it's not too bad. There are no arse-freezing metal side-struts, which is a definite plus, but the seat could be a bit wider - guess that's what £20 buys you...

...And In The News: Oh look - the "internet makes you mad" gang have suddenly lost interest in the shootings in Germany, now that the killer's "warning" has been investigated, and now appears to be a complete fake, probably invented for publicity. Oh dear, it looks as though the boy was "'just' depressed", and that's nothing like as interesting or exciting as the drooling, bloodthirsty "cyber-monster".

And finally... Damn - when out shopping yesterday, I saw a boy who was The Splitting Image of Chris Griffin from Family Guy. Crazy.
