At Last...

Development News... Okay, that's another chapter of MoN-201 "Mane-of-Night And The Dark Child's Descent" "on file", and a good deal of action coming up. This has been a struggle, this chapter, but I should, inspiration willing, have the story finished for the start of Work-Slot 1, on Saturday.

Elsewhat, or "Some People Don't Know When To Shut Up"... So, a poll of "young people" tells us that most of them see little or no hope for the future, given the current economic climate. Oh, boo. Hoo. Time for you to take your own advice... argh, I just can't say it. If you think things are bad here and now, just think what it's like for the people in Zimbabwe, Darfur, even the Gaza Strip - wanna swap places with any of them?

Thought not.

So just shut the fuck up, and take some control of your lives, rather than surrendering it to booze, drugs and gangs. Don't like how life is going? Change it.

Also... Okay, I didn't get to bed for a while after posting last time, and I got to sleep even later. I admit it. Tonight may be similar, but I'm not going to fool myself about it this time.

And for afters: Yay! Saturday sees a new season of CSI: New York! Add to that the impending new CSI and Primeval, and things are definitely looking up - should see us nicely through to Easter, and "Planet Of The Dead"...

(Another) End Of An Era

Well, that's it. Woolworths is history. It was rather depressing to go in today, and see almost no stock - I had to walk round three times to find something to buy, namely two flexible rulers, which I probably bought for the total price I could have bought rulers for back when I was little. This town now, sadly, has a big gaping hole at the heart of it, and I couldn't bring myself to take a photo today...

There you have it, people - undeniable proof that Gordistair have completely screwed this country up...

Meanwhile... Throughout "The Year Of Pain", I would, without fail, wake up at half past six, and go back to sleep then wake up at half past seven, or find I couldn't get back to sleep at all. I managed to shed that tendancy midway through 2008, and now I'm waking up at a more sensible time, only to fall asleep again, and not get fully up to speed until midday - if I'm lucky. I'm blaming the cold - it honestly hasn't been as cold as this for four, five years - but I braved it today, and feel better for it. Thought: perhaps it might be an idea to try something completely new, particularly something active.

And Funnily Enough... About those two rulers: they're packaged as 6" and 12" rulers respectively, but both are entirely metric. Crazy...

And finally... Should be a comic order, with added extravagant goodies, some time between tomorrow and the weekend. Final issue of Secret Invasion please? The 'Net is starting to buzz about what comes next already...
