A Summer Wednesday
4 Jun 2008 23:41Now this is more like it...
Nice weather. Proper nice weather. Sunscreen and shades weather. Didn't get much writing done, but I can live with that. Oooh, look - comics... that's a bit of a surprise. Guardians Of The Galaxy #1 shone sufficiently, Final Crisis #1 - hmmm; maybe not as inpenetrable as I'd expected for a series with a 52-issue run-in, but then instead of adding four comics a month to my order, I read the summaries on ComicBookResources.com - thanks guys!
Just finished... Blade Trinity on TV. Verdict? I pity the crew that had to follow up on a Del Toro movie. Entertaining, but not exactly breathtaking.
And finally... Ooooh, mini-laptops. The ultimate writing solution? I switched to a pair of Moleskine notebooks after getting sick of carrying the huge organiser about - but that still involves typing up the pen-and-paper versions, which can eat up quite a bit of creative time. I like "proper" writing, despite the "limitations".
