De-clotted
6 Mar 2008 23:41Yesterday, there was an episode of the Sixties series Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased) on the TV, and I can swear that a major plot point was quite completely ignored. The Bad Guys were about to explain their devious haunted-house scheme... then the scene switched to another character, and when we got back to The Bad Guys and their captive, it was as though the promised explanation had never been mentioned - were we supposed to think the whole explanation had just been given "while we were away"...?
That's the way it seemed, anyway.
So, that got me thinking, and the "story clot" for MoN-107 "A Darkening Tide" has been ironed out - rather than go into what was essentially unnecessary detail about stuff that isn't likely to be relevant in the future. I'm not exactly cutting away to a different POV, or inserting scenes of Uschi Digart wandering around the desert in thigh-high boots and nothing else (like Cherry, Harry and Racquel!) - although I could XD. Hopefully, things will progress more swiftly now, and I can get round to posting something for the next story that's due.
Elsewhat... You're lucky to see a postman doing deliveries before noon these days, but courier deliveries are getting earlier and earlier - the latest batch of comics arrived before I even got up. Maybe there'll be some review material in that.
