5 Mar 2008 22:44Development News... Okay, I admit it - development for MoN-107 "A Darkening Tide" has run aground on one moderately significant plot element. I'm going to need to take a while to think this out, 'cause this is something of a lynch-pin for the rest of the story. I'll try serious writing again on Saturday - some kind of early night or lie-in may be required...
Meanwhile... Damn - I only just found out that Gary Gygax, creator of Dungeons & Dragons, had died. Cue a whole bunch of "geeks in mourning" headlines from people who haven't exercised a brain-cell's worth of imagination in their lives, and will never create anything that will ever, ever come close to being as successful or inspirational. Good night, Mr Gygax, and thank you.
And Finally... I also see Green Bay legend Brett Favre has announced his retirement. The numbers say it all, but I'm quite happy to state that the guy was incredible, a seemingly ego-free leader. Football will be diminished somewhat by his retirement, and the current crop of big-name QBs will have plenty of work to do to come close to what he's achieved.
