Fopp, the only decent music shop to open in town for the last decade, has gone out of business, closing all their 100+ branches.
Shit.
This was great shop, with an excellent variety of stock, regularly including hard-to-find albums at incredible prices - I got The Scorpions' "Fly To The Rainbow" - an album I've been searching for for YEARS - at Fopp for £5, and I'd feel guilty going in there and not coming out with at least one CD or DVD. It'd been open for less than a year - closer, actually, to six months...
That just pisses me off. This town struggles to keep shops open as it is.
