I... NEED... A... BREAK
18 Apr 2007 22:04Dammit, even the prospect of Uni work seems like a holiday right now. The Fucking System ISN'T helping me, with its half-assed crap at "Fox River" - a classic case of lowest bidder wins, and to hell with the service. I will be taking my allocated five days off around my birthday, and if I could find some place to go and spend a couple of days far, far away from all this shit, I would. I will, at least, go and see Spider-Man III on opening day...
Uh oh - better watch out. People might think I'm about to go on a gun rampage...
Project Development... TDD-503 has ground to a near-halt, as what's written just doesn't work for me - it's that hard to keep things "on the same page" at present. TDD-502 could debut this weekend at The Darkhawk Diaries, followed not long after completion by the mighty opus that is MoN-103, the latest Secret Adventure of Mane-of-Night - which is creeping towards being finished.
I'm thinking that maybe I should finish that story first - it will cover me for the best part of a month, after all - and have the decks cleared for a major push soon.
I'm also thinking that Mane-of-Night really should be making contact with Darkhawk ASAP - maybe TDD-503 could be an "anthology of communications", but I really want to get The Hellion more "screen time". She'll be earning the privilege this summer, if things go according to plan.
And finally... Think I'll head to bed early to put today behind me, and maybe... just maybe crack the creative logjam.
Or fall asleep in front of something I want to watch...
