Interesting... ...how a big chunk of The Last Starfighter (just on tv today) found its way into Team America World Police, in particular the "chosen hero says no to his "destiny" and the subsequent "chosen hero ends up the 'last man standing' saviour of the world/universe"
Also... Enjoyed Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children, even though the games and back-story were unknown to me. I think it's in movies like these that CGI really works, blending the fantastic with the (almost) realistic.

Concerning the girl "Ashley", who will now never grow up because of treatment requested by her parents: if this is all about making life easier for the parents, than this is quite simply monstrous abuse of the girl's personal freedoms. All this talk of "freedom from menstrual cramps and excessive bed-sores" sounds like a smokescreen to me...
My mother effectively acts as "carer" for my great aunt. Should my mother be allowed to request that my aunt's arms and legs be amputated to avoid her having accidents, or suffering age-related conditions like leg ulcers? I think not.
