Catch-Up... The big season finales:- CSI: Miami: I doubt you'll ever see Horatio Caine cry, but he is definitely one of those people you do not want to get pissed off with you. Several people should be glad he tempers his emotions with a sense of duty to the law and his colleagues. Currently the "on-air" leader in the "Picard rating" stakes...

- Torchwood: ...which you certainly couldn't say about Captain Jack Harkness. Jeez, what a miserable sod he's been throughout the series - right up until New Year's day's season-ending double-header. Look! Jack smiles! Look! Jack has a kind word for someone! Look! Jack is overjoyed when... ooops, better not let a spoiler slip for overseas readers - but British fans know what's coming next, don't we...?

Today... Went shopping, with a view towards carrying out an art project that sprang to mind just before New Year - but the art shop was shut. Bugger.

Oh well, I'll just have to do other preparations instead, or finish something else. I can't really be bothered with New Year resolutions, but I would like to reach the end of this year with no project left unfinished. Let's see how far I get with that...
