In Today's Episode... "The Helfyre Legacy" approaches its climax: Myr'aa discovers that everything, or more correctly everyone, is not exactly as they appear, whilst Mane-of-Night's attempts to rescue those facing S'Dhar's wrath don't exactly go to plan. Stay tuned for the conclusion - THIS WEEK!

Release notes... It's not been easy to step up the creative machine past first or second gear this past week, given the illness situation. I had been getting good creative bursts despite the coughs, sneezes and general crappiness, but that dried up later in the week. Hopefully, I can shake myself loose of that and press forward with this story, and development for next year.

Yup - next year. I don't think anything more that can be referred to as "major" will be completed before the year is out. I will try, and hopefully a thorough 2008 gameplan will be in place when operations kick back into high gear. I am not going to make the "five days between chapters" thing a permanent fixture - I'm comfortable with two chapter every three days, and a five to seven day "refuelling" gap between stories - and there won't be long gaps in either series apart from between "seasons", or maybe at a mid-season point, where suitable.

But first, I'd like to get the "Year Of Suck" behind me. It's not been great, and it's not finishing particularly well either, but when it's done, it's done, and I expect to be quite glad to see it go.

And finally... Oh, and look at that - the Redskins dropped another one. Great.
