I've made some preliminary progress on TDD-504, but I'm kinda thinking of taking a bit of a break now. I'm definitely needing it, 'cause tonight's Ultima Online session was a freaking nightmare - when things go wrong, they go seriously wrong...
In the news... It was pretty brave of Prince to release his new album in the UK as a freebie with a major Sunday newspaper - but there's already something like eighteen whole pages of the CD for sale on UK eBay. This has to be expected as 1) the publicity this has generated is VAST, and 2) this particular distribution tactic has the slight flaw of being one day only (that is, Sunday July 15) - I don't know if you can get the CD in any form from Monday onwards apart from via eBay and the like.
It'll be interesting to see if there's any fall-out from this - the CD packaging does state "NOT FOR RESALE". I certainly don't think it means the death of the music industry.
