Tonight's BIG highlight could only be the finale for Doctor Who, Season III - and holy shit, was that a crazy ride...! ***SPOILERS...***

(1) WE WANT MARTHA! This show NEEDS The Divine Ms (Dr.) Jones!
(2) Yes, I saw the "Return of The Jedi" and "Flash Gordon" homages...
(3) "He's not really gone...." (see (2))
(4) The Toclafane - ewwww, nasty...
(5) Whoa! Could THAT really be the truth about The Face Of Boe???? Didn't see THAT coming! Nice one, Russell!

Excuse me while I come back down from all that. I fully expect point (1) will generate a LOT of fan reaction before the weekend is over, (2) and (3) give the show's makers a golden opportunity to do something they've been wanting to do for ages, albeit to a different character, and (5) will be forum-fodder for a LOOOOONG time to come! Pity my Season 4 theory got torpedoed emphatically (well, it WAS a decent idea, and a great excuse to save more money), but my "Big Mistake" theory was pretty much spot-on - and what an elementary villain mistake it was!

Saturdays are going to be very dull until Christmas, and then next Spring.
