In Today's Episode... There's tension at the conference as Omiga and Medrox's creation incites mixed reactions - some of those attending aren't exactly happy about the weapon that's been sent to defend them...In Development... MoN-104 advances, with a rather nice bonus that just happened to come to mind as I listened to that Octopus album with the groovy cover (courtesy of Amazon). You'll see what I mean soon enough.
Weather report... Oooh, look! Sun...!
Oh no, it's gone again. Guess that was Summer, then.
In the news... This latest video game "outrage" is a fucking joke. Okay, the mother of Jamie Bulger has a right to be upset, and the company has decided to withdraw the game, but why is the game being treated as a toddler-killing simulator, and being lumped together with the "ultra-violent, evil and banned" Manhunt 2?
Come on. This is the most ludicrous over-reaction in a loooooong time. Is Mrs Bulger, or whatever her name is, now going to go into a frenzy about that very same image as is "seen", as a blurry mass of pixels in one corner of a few screens in the game, when it's shown AGAIN AND AGAIN, as crystal clear as 1990's CCTV can provide, on EVERY news programme since last night?
By being so publicly outraged, she is only hurting herself, as far as I can see. That kind of obsession can't be healthy.
The game has apparently been withdrawn from sale (but you can still seemingly get it on Amazon), so let that be an end of it. Please.
