In The Can (or nearly)

patentdragonThere it is - "Opening Night" is, barring minor "reshoots", in the can.
It's taken a heck of a long time, considering that the first two-thirds of the story, including the extended Circus Glitterthorn intro, were written about a year ago, then set aside as The Darkhawk Diaries surged ahead, on collision course with. I need to take a good look at what's been written these last few days, and maybe incorporate a few paragraphs to flesh things out a bit more in the final chapter and epilogue, but that should be just about "it".
Meanwhile, I'm moving ahead with the second half of TDD-503 - the half that matters - and if I can make the kind of progress with that that I've done with "Opening Night", I may even get it finished too! After that, I'm going to need some serious development time to plot our course through the mid-part of this season, where things really start to happen...
And finally... I had to wonder if someone was playing silly buggers at the exams today, as one of the registration cards came back with the name of a particular international "politician" on it - but then I checked it against the list of candidates, and yes, the President of The United States was sitting an exam today... :D
