patentdragonI'm coming to the conclusion that the domain hosting I've been shelling out for for years because it was cheap has been the epitome of false economy - I haven't been able to update any of it since going broadband, because you can't upload anything without using the company's dial-up connection; sorry for being technically inept, but how am I supposed to do that...?
I found a far better, more accommodating hosting solution for dominicore.com, and I may just carry out a switch-over of some of my other assets if the funding can be found (*cough cough*)...
Meanwhile... Today is the big day, as my great-aunt moves out of hospital at last. We're all hoping this will be the dawning of a brighter day, for her and the family. I'd very much like to see Parental break loose of the stress this situation has caused her all summer. For others, however, the stress hasn't even begun - someone screwed up, more than once, and they WILL be brought to task for it.
Elsewhat... Last night's Windows Update (see last post) took FOREVER, and ate up a big chunk of my evening. I am NOT happy. Getting stuff like that done in no time at all is a key part of the reason for going broadband in the first place. Grrrr...
Development News... Okay, it didn't happen last weekend, but I am DEFINITELY starting MoN-203 "Mane-of-Night And The Wayward Child" on Saturday at the latest - stay tuned in case I get it underway before then!
