In my utility email Inbox, seen today, but dated Thursday...
If the image doesn't show, let me explain: last month, BT (British Telecom) said they were closing down a bunch of email services, including one I've been using for over a decade. Cue a frantic rush, this month, to get contact addresses changed for a bunch of services, and this morning I was about to carry on with that process until I saw the above message.
Well, fuck you BT.
What an underhanded way to get people to sign up for your broadband, or start paying a monthly fee to retain their email address. I have been using up slabs of my free time to address this termination of service, and now, this.
I'm furious. At a time convenient to me, I will be completing the "port-over", and abandoning the service in question. You are NOT getting any more money out of me.
