Another Chorus Of The Nothing Going Right Day-Off Blues

I'm glad to have an internet connection right now. It's about the only thing that seems to be going right.

Funnily enough, it was the only thing going wrong this morning. Having spent most of yesterday netless, this morning's revelation of "more of the same" required me to go out, netbook in hand, in search of answers, and a functioning net connection. (Bang goes another "day off"...) Library? No luck there. University? The wireless was buggy at best, and at worst non-functional...

I just about managed to get some phone numbers, then I headed home, stopping off to pick up lunch on the way...

My key got stuck in the fornt door, and almost broke off in the lock. My lunch drink overflowed...

I was at my wits' end. I cried.

And when "The Vulture" got home, it was time to carve up my weekend again.

I MUST get some REAL time off where I can have some fucking PEACE.

Oh, and a new, TRUSTWORTHY laptop is becoming a matter of urgency...
