Development News... Right.... here we go...
I have completed TDD-702: The Learning Curve! This plot-line is going to progress through three episodes - "The Learning Curve", "Errands Of Mercy" (TDD-703) and "An Element Of Risk" (TDD-704), firmly putting the "new leadership" of Dominion in place, and laying down foundations for events to come.
"So, Why THIS Approach...?" As I've been working through TDD-702, the structure seemed to decide itself - the story flowed better at this pace, rather than cramming stuff into so many chapters simply because of some arbitrary limiting factor(s). I don't have to finish this in X number of chapters, or by Y date, and this way of working is making me enjoy writing again. In any case, TDD-703 is already underway...
The Release Schedule... I'm yet to set a start date for TDD-702, but it will be soon - once I've done the spell-check. I may want to have TDD-703 done before starting posting, to give me enough "lead time", and a short break between Episodes will allow me to work on the prequels to another key event, also coming soon. We'll be paying visits to The Challenger, Shadow City, and... ah, that would be telling...
If I'm going to keep having these freakin' "early mornings", I'm damn well going to use them. That is, in the simplest terms, how it is, Dear Reader. Enjoy!
