I've only just discovered the SLUTWALK movement, and as one who occasionally steps outside his gender's boundaries, I can understand just how judgemental others can be. Calling people names is one thing, but suggesting that someone has been "asking for it" - it being a sexual assault - by dressing in a certain way is beyond disgusting, and impossible to defend...
...even when it's a member of my family saying it. (Hi Mum!)
As a result, I will say this: I will quite gladly offer my support to SLUTWALK. NOTHING justifies these kinds of attacks - ever. In addition, I also think it's disgraceful to assume that all men are some kind of sexual "guided missile" - give them a target in a mini-skirt and high heels, and off they go. It's all part of the mind-set that allowed Bliar and "New Liebour" to get away with The Jane Longhurst Law...
Yet again, the victim, or the innocent, is targetted. That's just not right.
