Aaaah, that's better...
28 Jan 2011 23:26Had my bath when I got in, instead of Sunday morning, and a great swathe of (hopefully) unstressed weekend lies before me. No house viewings this time, and no plans to head to Site B so far - yep, it's looking good. Next weekend has a Super Bowl at the end of it, so I better make the most of this one. That bath was a good idea.
I had the office all to myself today, and plenty of work got done. Some decent writing, too, which takes TDD-609 ...Second Movement a small step forward. Heading in the right direction, then...
On the Mane-of-Night front, a special occasion is looming - the fifth anniversary of the launch of The Secret Adventures of Mane-of-Night! February 25 is the "big day", and something WILL be posted on that day. An actual story segment, perhaps a "flashback", or something like that. Just not a chunk of "what's just over the horizon".
Mission 101 Musings... This month has been something of a "dead zone" as far as my Mission is concerned - I've not had all that much time to devote to it, or much else beyond writing, come to think of it. Even less inspiration, I have to admit. I probably could have caught up on a few multi-part tasks over Christmas/New Year, and even stamped *SCORE* on one or two things, but it simply just didn't happen. It's Month 13, so what can you expect... no, that's a truly crappy excuse. I know I can do better than that!
I think I can complete a task before the end of the month, with a bit of application. Also, I can pretty much make an origami box from memory now - there are several on my desk. Perhaps I can count that as a step towards
And finally... A big thank you to BBC Four and Mark Knopfler, for a fantastic set, not long finished, that helped smooth the way into my weekend. JOY.
