Pay attention now... Physics exam. Mathematical formula leaflets supplied. Five leaflets short. Phone calls to exam staff to arrange for more leaflets. Attempt made to photocopy leaflets...
Students arrive. Some already HAVE leaflets. Four no-shows. Result? Enough leaflets to go round - just as staff finish the photocopying. Yep, that's the wild, wild world of invigilation!
Pity lunch sucked. I could have gone across the road to a juice bar, and sat in peace with a hot chocolate and something, but nooooo, I had to go round the shops, buying elements of lunch here and there, with a view to occupying my usual spot at my main venue...
Of course, it's Saturday. Different arrangements. I sit upstairs over lunch, I get locked in. Great.
Back to the juice bar. Hot chocolate, a cramped writing environment (back to that in a minute), a hastily consumed fudge doughnut at my current venue when that opens... back to work!
Not entirely sucky, but could've been better. I survived.
Development News... Chapter 17 of The Secret Adventures of Mane-of-Night - Flight 102 Is Overdue is pretty much sorted. Chapter 18 is underway. Looking good.
