More Annoying Sh8...
12 Oct 2010 23:52CRAP. I've been desperately searching the schedules for "classic movies" to watch for one of my Mission 101 tasks, and this week, I found one - only to completely miss it last night.
That's it - I need a DigitalVideoRecorder. I'm so damned sick of missing what little TV is worth watching, such as the Sunday Night Football, for example, and all that stuff that's on at the same time as CSI Miami.
Breaking News... Okay, so Bride of Frankenstein gets a repeat on Thursday - right in the middle of the "guaranteed to fall asleep" slot. Definitely time for an equipment upgrade - even if it's a temporary measure.
Meanwhile... I would much rather have a security suite request that I reboot my computer than have the thing perform component-by-component shut-downs, thank you very much. I'll be giving this product another chance - but if anything gets through, and fucks stuff up, there'll be hell to pay...
And finally... Ooh, this is excellent: Top Ten Superhero Costumes Designed By Dave Cockrum. Most of my favourite characters have been "dressed" by this legend of the comics industry. I would very much like to own a piece of his work - anyone want to buy me the splash page from Ms Marvel #20 (October 1977)?
