This is just about ALL I'm going to say about the "World Cup"... Given all the sh8 this country is getting via the BP oil spill, I find myself wanting to see England give the USA a kicking. Chipping big chunks off BP's share price isn't hurting the company's bosses - it's knocking the bottom out of a hell of a lot of pensions...
1966 was a long time ago, sports-wise. There is no such thing in ANY sport as "it's OUR turn". You earn your titles - they are not handed to you. Grasp that fact, and things might go a whole bunch better.
If the concept of "taking turns" existed in sport, every team in the NFL would not only have played in a Super Bowl, they'd all have won at least one, and the soccer league tables wouldn't be being topped by the same bloated, top-heavy with egos outfits every damn year...
That is all.
