Hmph. A real "not a lot happening" day, except for some development work on Chapter 6 of MoN-204 "Mane-of-Night And The Hunter's Game". Guess I must be "coming down" from the extended birthday celebrations...
The time is fast approaching for "Official" Work Slot 2 (starting Saturday), and all appears to be well in that respect. It will be strange to not be sitting at a screen full of database, but the change may be as good as a rest - oh, and the pay is better.
Oh! Hold on... here's something: yesterday was Comic Delivery Day! It kind of got lost in the final throes of the Election, and checking back on release dates, I'm thinking a few items got delayed by the volcano-related flight restrictions, but damn that means another month before I get to read the end of Marvel's Siege event, and it doesn't look like I get anything really nice in my parcel for my birthday or Spiritwalk. Poo.
However - to the mini-reviews... DC's Brightest Day gets its intriguing, omen-laden #0 prelude...
- Thanos returns in explosive fashion in Guardians Of The Galaxy #25 (Marvel), and damn, you have to feel for Moondragon, which is so strange after her years as an insufferable, arrogant bitch (and I hope this isn't the last issue of this title)...
- Nova also goes on Thanos-induced hiatus (I hope) with issue 36, as the whole War/Realm Of Kings storyline steps up a little further. It would be a crime to deprive the character of his own title after so much has been done to make him a real heavy-hitter on the cosmic stage...
- ...and finally, nice one Arisia! (Green Lantern Corps #47)
Now, excuse me while I carry on watching Flightplan - damn, that's devious sh8.
