So, this morning I was waiting for the latest episode of "The Netbook Anti-Virus Comedy Hour", and I thought "there's every chance this will screw up, so why just sit here and wait for it to do so?" As a result, I decided to pursue one of my neglected Mission 101 tasks:
39 - Learn some Na'vi
and attempt to work out a translation of a saying commonly used by Blue Lanterns "All will be well."

There is, however, quite a significant difference between a language web-site (LearnNavi.org), and being taught French and German at school. Terminology hits you square in the face straight out of the blocks - that's why that Tolkein Elvish book is mostly inpenetrable as a casual learning text...

So, "lu" is the Na'vi equivalent of the verb "to be" (etre in French) - now, where does the future infix (ay) go, for a start...?

This isn't going to be as easy as I envisioned. Finding a drow version was easier by far - hence the title of this post. :)

Oh yes, and the screw-up did take place, as expected. "Yank The Battery" time again...

Needless to say, I did not get any writing done, last night or today. Seems like I just manage to get settled, and a) I fall asleep, or b) there's some little job that needs done elsewhere. Sh8.
