Now, let's see...

This month's comics popped up quite unexpectedly, something showed up on eBay that rather caught my eye - and yes, I submitted a bid (which was fairly rapidly overtaken)!

Oh, and The Pope had the unmitigated gall to "voice concerns" about new UK equality laws. Yeah, this is Cardinal Nazi-Brownshirt, leader of the most hateful organisation outside of al-Qaeda, sitting in his palace decorated with blood-stained gold torn from the dead hands of the native peoples of South America by the Vatican's genocidal agents, Cortez and Pizarro...

He's coming to the UK in September? Look forward to Peter Tatchell and his gay rights people kicking up a much-deserved stink - and the God-Squad won't hesitate crying "human rights!" to defend their "rights" to try and keep the rest of us in the Dark Ages.

And finally... Sir Terry Pratchett's Dimbleby Lecture was powerful stuff, delivered in spirited fashion by Tony "Baldrick" Robinson. Sir Terry's humour was in evidence throughout, but the call for "assisted dying" was never diluted by it, and his case was set out clear as day. The critics should watch it, and watch it all.

And finally finally...

In Today's Episode... "She Returns" takes a momentary detour, as Mane-of-Night's companion Myr'aa goes to investigate the truth behind an ancient battle - a battle that may just be re-enacted in the stars as The Unified Response faces The Pandemonicum.

Meanwhile, the Mutual Defence Imperative welcomes Mane-of-Night - and our heroine receives some most unwelcome news from elsewhere...

Development News... Made some more progress with Chapter 6 - if only other matters could be cleared up to allow me to make a clear run at this, I could be finished the whole story by the final whistle in the Superbowl...

Whassup...? I've been paying for dial-up I haven't used for about a year now. Yeah, I know - crazy. I'd been meaning to cancel it for a while, but then along came our recent woes, and this was one of the things that "slipped through the cracks". I've been trying to cut any remaining ties... but there's always one step in the chain that has to trip you up. Grrrrrr - so much for the wonders of the computer age.

Kinda thankful I put Objective 66 - Get back into the habit of properly balancing my finances on my Mission 101 list.
