I have written the last words of Season 6 of The Darkhawk Diaries.

No, I haven't had a massive, MASSIVE creative "push". No, I haven't cut corners, or truncated my story arc (oooh, sounds painful ;-) ). I simply had a "vision", and wrote it all down. Part of it was already on my mind, as were some of the events featured, but there are several things that cropped up as the vision took form. I do not intend to change any of this, no matter what happens between now and then. What will be, will be - the ride will still be worth the taking.

Oh, and another piece of the final episode(s) sprang to mind - something wonderful. Real "punch the air" stuff.

Meanwhile... I've taken a bit of a creative chance by making the events of last night's story posting official. The last time I incorporated anyone else's work into continuity, I ended up feeling compelled to "backtrack", hence the "Fortain's World" business - which, it truth, worked out pretty well, as it's given me several new characters to work with, and a whole new planet of potential. This time, things aren't entirely the same...

If you haven't seen the three-part season finale for Doctor Who, Season Four yet, here come some SPOILERS... The key storyline in "Turn Left", "The Stolen Earth" and "Journey's End" is "the stars are going out"/"the darkness is coming" - the culmination of the grandest of master-plans devised by the Daleks and their creator, Davros. The scheme involves, in the simplest terms, erasing all of reality - in all realities - and such a colossal event, even though it is prevented from happening, simply cannot vanish from possibility without trace. Someone, somewhere, is bound to detect it, even if only on the level of a feeling that "someone walked over your grave" - by even being considered, The Reality Bomb has walked over the Multiverse's grave, in a way no other catalcysm ever has. Not even the "Crisis On Infinite Earths", although DC Comics' masterwork does come pretty close...

The Traveller has detected that very "grave-walking" in "Fourteen Hours, And Twenty Three Minutes", thanks to The Tanusov Equation. He can't do anything to undo the "pre-effects" of The Reality Bomb, but he will have to deal with the damage this most lethal of ideas will do to other universes, some more fragile that others. Sorry, Russell T Davies, but you can't just threaten to wipe out my universes and expect me not to do something about it... and I don't mean the "Armageddon" mission carried out by the Emergency Intervention team, which involved two starships equipped with hybrid Borg technology, and a brace of dark-matter nukes. A mission from which they never returned...

Oh yes - things are most definitely cooking.
