Work Slot 3, Day 4... (current state of play at time of posting) Darkhawk pages written - 7. Screens typed up - 3.25. Chapters finished - 1, if I keep going with type-up. Chapters to go - still 2. Students counted - lots (I could give an approximate figure, but that might be frowned upon).
Think I'll need night-vision goggles next time - when that big lecture theatre is dark, boy, is it dark! I have to wait for something bright to appear on the big screen, then count really fast!
On laughing students... Hey, I'm the one who's laughing - £7-8 an hour, and I only have to do a maximum of 15 MINUTES WORK in that hour - that's ONE AND THREE QUARTER HOURS A DAY!
Meanwhile... Oh, it's the draw for the World Cup - my, how exciting (just look at Charlize Theron sleep-walk through it!). And just what if England got a bad draw? Would that really be the end of the world? "Oooh, bad luck for England - drawn in the same Group as The Centre Of The Earth, Skaro, and The Planet Of Certain Death, Populated Entirely By Radioactive, Exploding Dinosaurs..."
Tomorrow... I rest. No Glasgow trip this weekend, but very soon!
