One Week To Hallelujah Meltdown...

i.resist Report... We are now one week away from the commencement of the 2009 "CLAN Gathering", and so far, the school is quiet. The "blue jellyfish" tent used at the out-of-town venue the last few years is/has been, I am informed, used at the "T In The Park" festival, which takes place this weekend, and if CLAN are going to use it this time round, it will be making its appearance early this week. This I am dreading, and its presence will most definitely trigger the "i.resist Protocols"...

In any case, it's time to get the tent down from the attic, start work on the "manifesto", print off a few flyers, even dash off an "official" t-shirt (Note to self: purchase t-shirt!)! Good to know there won't be any Government entanglements during the i.resist week, but if I want to go to Potter 6 on Day 1, I will most likely have to book in advance.

Development News... Earlier today, I managed to get Chapter 1 of MoN-203 "Mane-of-Night And The Wayward Child" "in the can". I was pretty much 100% satisfied...

...then I found myself rethinking how the story would unfold. There is some crucial "pre-story" that needs to be addressed before we dive into the real "meat" of the matter, and I'm thinking it's better to go through that all in a "oner" before bringing in the rest of our protagonists, instead of peppering their side of things with potentially confusing semi-flashbacks. This may mean dropping one piece of dialogue that just had to be included... *sighs*

I'm in no hurry to complete this story, but I do want to maintain the momentum that's building up. TDD-603 was something of a struggle, and the latest work is such a refreshing change. I've known where I'm going with it for a LONG time, although how to get there isn't entirely mapped out - there's a grand Prix tomorrow (German), and that will eat up a lot of the day, during which I can sit back and give the whole thing some thought. Yeah, that'll work.

And don't forget that once MoN-203 is done, the continuation of Darkhawk Season 6 awaits. Now there's a challenge.
