"...sometimes the handle just breaks off in your hand!" (Lenny Henry, years ago)
So, I thought I had devised the PERFECT name for my CLAN resistance campaign - "i-RESiST '09" - then I went to Twitter to see if the name was available for a dedicated account... but something a bit TOO similar was already in use. The account hasn't seen an update since last year, but it's enough to dent one's enthusiasm. Dammit, I even had a t-shirt ready logo!
So... I considered a small change, given that "I-RESIST" really does sound like an iPhone app - perhaps "i.resist", which is similar to the name "i.am" I had briefly considered (ooh, snappy!) until I remembered that guy in the Black Eyed Peas who was in the Wolverine movie...
...but will Twitter accept that user name? And why is that particular information so damn hard to find out?
It's a start, at least. Thankfully, I haven't printed any t-shirts or the like yet. I'll run off a few ideas based around the "i.resist" name, and see how it goes. Even if I can't use it on Twitter, it still feels "comfortable".
Development News... I'm taking a step back today, with a view to probably doing some late-night writing, and some pre-Torchwood orc-slaying in Ultima Online. That doesn't, however, mean I've been idle.
Not long ago, I came across something I'd thought was lost - the Darkhawk/Mane-of-Night "digital comic book" I put together a LONG time ago, on a Mac using Hypercard. I'm sure the original files are on a floppy disk somewhere, but this was a "thumbnail" print-out of the pages I'd created, as something of an experiment, and which could perhaps be viewed as my earliest introduction to what would become an interest in web design, and I have scanned those print-outs, turning them into a four-page "comic" I intend to make available through dominicore.com in the very near future, or possibly as a "fill-in" for The Darkhawk Diaries.
Here, as a taste of things that were, is the first panel of actual story - the first official appearance of Darkhawk and Mane-of-Night as a team!

Something of a "Rosetta Stone", I suppose - gods, that was FUN to do. A much more relaxed age...
UPDATE...

Yup. Sorted.
