So, where do I begin...? It was too DAMN hot last night. My contacts were drying out, so I could not see. I WANTED to do some writing, but in the end, I just gave up, and went to bed...

Then, at about 2 in the morning, I was woken up by the phone. I received news that my 95-year-old great-aunt was need of medical attention, and I ended up not getting to sleep until about 4, waiting for updates and worrying about The Supreme Parental, who is at Great-Aunt's every beck and call these days. This, of course, has not laid particularly strong foundations for today's creative endeavours. I had to ditch contacts until the heat breaks, or be able to do NOTHING.

So, all in all, things are NOT good. Now excuse me while I go eat, and try to regroup creatively - probably an all-out effort after the Ultima Online guild hunt. A nice new flat-screen monitor wouldn't go amiss, to prevent visual troubles in the future. Thank the gods I've been paid...
